Two names for the website
November 25, 2009
You can reach the Shell Point website by entering shellpointbaptistchurch.org or myshellpoint.org at the top of your browser. Either way you will get to the same place. I usually use the second one so I don’t have to type as much.
Corey Ellis will be posting the sermon on the website after each Sunday morning service. It will probably be available by the time you get home from church. This is a very important job and it take some computer skills.
Joy Kircher will (after a little training) be keeping the calendar and the news up to date. Keeping the latest and accurate information on the website will be what makes it so useful. When you have a news item or want to put an event on the website calendar please see Joy.
Please thank Corey and Joy for their help when you see them.

Can’t find the Shell Point Directory?
November 25, 2009
Have you ever wanted to look up someone in the 2008 Shell Point Drectory but can’t find it at home. Don’t worry, you can view it online. Hover your cursor over “About” and select “Members Only” from the drop down list. You may be asked for a password and I can’t give that here, ask Pastor Allan or Joy.
The directory was missing for a while with the old website but it has been restored for your convenience.

New text message feature on website
November 24, 2009
Software has been added to allow the church to send a text message to your cell phone. If you are on the staff, a deacon, a teacher or serve in any leadership role you should consider signing up. Hover your cursor over “About” on the menu bar and select “Contact”. In the right sidebar of the contact page you will see the form to sign up. Once we get folks signed up and organized into groups the church will be able to send a brief text message to an individual or a group.
